Just in case you were having a pleasant weekend or something....
I must admit that continuously covering the war in the MidEast has hardened my heart. A lot. There isn't much that surprises or shocks me anymore when it comes to terrorism. It's sad but true. This afternoon, I found a pictorial recap or the intifada that has tragically taken so many lives. It brought tears to my eyes. If you feel a need to remind yourself why we should be furious about every innocent life lost in Israel, then make sure you head to Project One Soul. You won't forget it.
Arutz Sheva (Israel National Radio) wants to know why Peres is not in jail yet.

Imagine if a few US senators of members of Congress secretly negotiated an agreement with Osama Bin Laden without the knowledge of other elected officials. Imagine also that the President then signed an agreement with Bin Laden to supply him 30,000 guns, which Bin Laden promptly turned against US citizens and started massacring them by the thousands. Would these senators now be in prison for treason? You bet. Well, as Arutz Sheva points out, this is exactly what Shimon Peres and his advisors did before the Oslo accords were signed. He negotiated a deal with Arafat in secret and illegally as Israeli law forbids negotiating with any organization which has been declared a terrorist organization. Then, he brought the deal to Rabin for signature. And he convinced the world that Palestinians were trustworthy enough to be given massive amounts of weapons. Arafat and his savage allies then turned the weapons onto Israeli citizens, not army, and began their systematic slaughter of Jews.

Why then, isn't Peres in jail for treason? Why is his second in command Elie-Ezer the Israeli Minister of Defense, when the Labour party is the one which negotiated this Oslo capitulation which resulted in the situation today? Why does Sharon continue to allow his hands to be tied by Labour when it most likely would be wiped out in a national election? When will Sharon finally take the measures needed to rid Israel of the constant threats as he should as the leader of the country? Will he follow Peres' advice and allow the creation of a Palestinian State right besides Israel when that state's avowed goal is the destruction of Israel and the extermination of all its Jewish citizens? Should that be also considered treason?

Toby Klein Greenwald provides an in-depth analysis of the ingrained, systemic anti-Israel slant of the AOL TIme-Warner group, including its flagship CNN. It is a devastating exercise of connecting the dots where he shows the implications of having anti-Israel people very skillfully placed at all levels of the conglomerate, from the likes of Ted Turner all the way down to Sheila MacVicar. It simply is disgusting.

The last paragraph puts it into perspective:

Meanwhile, don't bother with the Sheila Macvicar's or Rula Amin's, eager accomplices though they are. They are only the final links in a very well-healed and ugly chain of anti-Israel bias. Shouting about Macvicar is like admonishing the woman who refilled the toilet paper in the Goebbels' commode, while he was busy with his sergeants, master planning the lies that justified the evil of the Third Reich.

Ouch!
So I get it now. After 20 months of crimes, 500 Israelis killed and over 5000 injured, Arafat is now ready to accept the plan that Clinton offered before Arafat organized and unleashed the intifada. The whole thing was a negotiating technique to soften up the Israelis.

The murderous buffoon Arafat has declared that he is now ready to accept a plan presented 20 months ago by Clinton. Imagine how the families of all the innocent Israelis who were killed since feel. The death of so many innocents at the hand of Arafat, which accomplished absolutely nothing other than force Arafat to consider a deal the HE turned down before, shows how criminally incompetent this guy is. I hope that the Palestinian people take care of him now that they have seen many of their people killed for nothing and so much of their economy destroyed. I would hope that someone among Palestinians, finally realizes that Arafat, not Israel, is the Palestinians' worst enemy and that he, and he alone, is what stands between death, destruction and a relatively normal existence. They should exile him or worse. And the sooner, the better for the entire world.
I understand them. They were desperate. They have no choice...

NABLUS, West Bank (Reuters) - Armed Jewish settlers raided a Palestinian town in the West Bank on Friday, killing one man and setting a house and cars ablaze, Palestinian witnesses said.

The attack in Howara, near the Palestinian-ruled city of Nablus, took place just hours after a Palestinian gunman killed five Israelis -- including three children and their mother -- in an assault on a nearby Jewish settlement.

Witnesses said 10 carloads of settlers, some armed with M-16 assault rifles, entered the Burin section of Howara, which is under Israeli security control and Palestinian civil rule.

"They opened fire, shooting at and burning part of my house and a car," Idris Audi, the father of the dead man, told Reuters by telephone. He said his 22-year-old son was killed by the settlers' gunfire.

I wonder how much sympathy the settlers will get for this one.....I hope these poor settlers get half the symapthy that the Palestinian terrorists are getting.
Palestinians say: They (suicide bombing victims) had it coming. They're on our land. Dare I say that this 22-year old had it coming.....his people killed a mother and three children last night.
Asparagirl (one of our favorite blogger colleague) bares her soul in this post and let's everyone know how depressed she is over the Middle East situation, which appears to have no end in sight. For some reason, according to Scott Ganz, many many people came down really hard on her for showing such negative feelings.

Are those people this thick that they wouldn't get it? Over 500 people have been assassinated in Israel in 20 months, 5000 have been injured, some maimed for life with hundreds of nails lodged in their skull, spine, liver, heart, children as young as a few months have been actually targetted for assassination (not just colateral casualties but actual targets). And after all this, the world, embodied by the UN, the EU and the likes of Cherie-I-read-the-Guardian-so-I-must-be-a-complete-idiot Blair still condems Israel for having the gall of defending itself. If the people who criticize her don't see a bit of a connection there, then there is no hope in this world!

A mother’s love….

Who knew that crack was so readily available in Gaza? What’s that you say? This mother was not on drugs? She actually believes this insanity? Scary.

Here are clips of an interview with the mother of one of the most recent genocide bombers in Israel. Insanity like this stems from a place much deeper than pretend “occupation” and made up “desperation”. This stuff is the direct result of cult-like brainwashing.

"[The decision to make my son into a martyr was] an easy thing. There is no disagreement [among scholars] on such matters. The happiness in this world is an incomplete happiness; eternal happiness is life in the world to come, through martyrdom. Allah be praised, my son has attained this happiness."

…"The atmosphere to which Muhammad was exposed [as a child] was full of faith and love of martyrdom. I maintain that a man's faith does not reach perfection unless it attains self-sacrifice…"

Quite the far cry from Lennon’s “….nothing to kill or die for. And no religion too”.

On Muhammas’s numerous attempts as a suicide bomber:
…"He tried several times. He would go out to the Al-Muntar road, taking his gun and bombs, but an opportunity did not present itself. He would return with his blood boiling because he hadn't managed to carry out an operation. He would brandish his weapon and tell me: 'Mom, this is my bride.' He loved his gun so much."

…"I prayed from the depths of my heart that Allah would cause the success of his operation. I asked Allah to give me 10 [Israelis] for Muhammad, and Allah granted my request and Muhammad made his dream come true, killing 10 Israeli settlers and soldiers. Our God honored him even more, in that there were many Israelis wounded."
"When the operation was over, the media broadcast the news. Then Muhammad's brother came to me and informed me of his martyrdom. I began to cry, 'Allah is the greatest,' and prayed and thanked Allah for the success of the operation. I began to utter cries of joy and we declared that we were happy. The young people began to fire into the air out of joy over the success of the operation, as this is what we had hoped for him."
"After the martyrdom [operation], my heart was peaceful about Muhammad. I encouraged all my sons to die a martyr's death, and I wish this even for myself.

Naomi Ragen on why it appears the terrorists are winning. She only makes one mistake: Israelis can be pushed only so far. At some point, they will retaliate and the Palestinians and their supporters will pay. Big time.

Why Our Enemies are Winning

Today, with the death of 19 Israelis, and over 50 hospitalized; with body parts strewn over the pavement of Jerusalem --the city all people agree is holy-- I realized why Israel’s enemies are winning.

We Israelis are simply too conflicted. We wake up in the morning, and we have to deal with our health system, with unemployment, with caring for our elderly and crippled and deaf. We have to find funding for abused children, and deal with our educational system. We have to worry about our economy, and try to encourage tourism. We worry about appearing well on CNN and BBC, and we worry, sincerely, about hurting innocent people, or even saying untrue or unkind things about the Muslims that live within our borders.

But our enemies have no such conflicts. They don’t think about how to feed their people, or get them jobs. They couldn’t care less about educating their children to live productive lives, or finding shelters for their abused women (since 99% are abused, there is no point). No, all the our enemies do all day, every day, is figure out how to kill. They work on better bombs. On convincing the gullible to carry them. On transferring funds from Iran and Europe to buy the materials, and securing fax numbers to disseminate the latest baby-killing plan to their numerous cells in Gaza and the West Bank. They don’t worry about bad press. Why should they? They can and have done anything, crossed every red line, broken every rule of civilized behavior without consequence: they’ve used Red Cross ambulances to ferry suicide bombers and grenades, blown up babies in their carriages, have snipers target the foreheads of 10 month olds in their mother’s arms, blown up schoolbuses, pizza parlors, hotels full of elderly survivors about to celebrate Passover…. Why should they worry? They have their PR plan in place: Saeb Erekat will simply repeat that they are not responsible. They don’t have the weapons, the manpower, the you-name it, and CNN and SKY and the BBC will broadcast it like it's news, instead of outdated propaganda. They will broadcast it without questioning a word, as if the PLO didn’t use the arms Israel gave them for terrorist attacks, as if they were never aware of the Karin A, as if they never saw the documents with Arafat’s signature authorizing suicide bomber payments.

So, with no concern for their people’s health care, or education or their economy; with no conscience, no morals, no pressure from a so-called civilized world or an inquiring and independent press, they have the luxury of single-mindedness. All day, every day they are Murder, Inc. supported by the world press, financed by the Saudis and Iranians and Iraqis, who also have nothing better to do with their time. And each day we see the results. More dead. More nails per lung and heart and skull. More success breeds more money. After all, that’s the business they are in. A bloodless day, is a day they don’t get paid by their devout Muslim employers. And so, up the corporate ladder they go: thinking up better ways to kill, more effective bombs, more outrageous targets. And doing it full-time.

We Israelis don’t have the luxury of ignoring our people’s needs. But unless we get rid of some of our complexes, and begin fighting back full-time, we simply can’t win.
Ted Turner gets nailed. Apparently the man only opens his big mouth long enough to take one foot out and put the other one in. An now, we know he equates Israeli self-defense to Palestinian mass murder. This is right after he called the terrorists of 9/11 as "brave". Ted, you are a moron.

This is exactly how this column about Ted Turner in the Weekly Standard starts. A great read!

By the way, the Saudi Prince who funds the Arab Radio and Television Network (on which they broadcast the interview of the 3-year old girl who hates Jews, as reported in a previous post), is none other than Prince Alaweed, a major stockholder in Time-Warner, parent
company of CNN. Coincidence of course.
Breaking News
Four Jewish settlers are dead and more from the same family are being held hostage inside their home after terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine burst into their home and began shooting. A four year-old is among the dead.
EU has concluded that the PA is not using EU money for terrorist activities.

Hahahahahahahah......................Do these freaking idiots really think that anyone is going to believe this charade? I think it is time we start giving Saddam money to "feed the poor children of Iraq", or maybe also give China money "for the families of the Tianamen massacre" or maybe give Ayatollah Whateverhislatestnameis in Iran money to pay for landscaping one of his villas. Of course, these people are honorable and none of this money will ever be misused for violence or anything like this...nosiree Bob! Idiots, bloody idiots.
The Israeli Army is mobilizing its reservists.

Makes you wonder if, once more, the Palestinians have gone beyond what the Israeli government considers "tolerable" in terms of the level of violence. It seems that Israel strikes back on a large scale only after a series of bombings raises the casualties to a number high enough that the government must do something. Let's hope Sharon has the fortitude to do in Gaza what he did in the West Bank. Let's hope also he gives Yasser a one-way ticket to Lybia.
Bush was about to announce his support for a "provisional" Palestinian rogue state when another mass murderer struck.

Giving in to terrorism will surely show Arafat that violence works, and that by turning up the violence even more, he may get all of his wishes. Good work Colin. Let's see if you change your mind next time terrorists kill Americans by the thousands.

Yes, clearly, the winds are shifting in Washington, and unfortunately it seems that the clueless Colin Powell is winning the battle. Let's review what happened over the last 2 years. After Arafat convinced the world to arm over 30,000 men as "security officers" (which is about 1 for every 100 persons among Palestinians), he turned down a "land AND peace" deal in Camp David and then unleashed armies of terrorists against Israeli citizens, killing over 500 Israelis, the equivalent of about 20 deaths per month, which per capita in Israel is the same as one 9/11 every 7 weeks. There is ample evidence, seized at Orient House and in Ramallah that Arafat organized and funded most of this violence. What is Powell's solution to this? Give them their own state. That will for sure stop the violence. Can anyone explain this idiotic logic of rewarding terror? Why not give Al Qu'aida part of Manhattan? After all, that will for sure stop any further attack! Let's look at this a bit closer. With Israel's heavy presence in the territories, they can only stop about 90% of the terrorists who want to strike at Israel. Imagine the same situation with Palestine as an independent state. Will the Israelis be able to pursue the terrorists if they take refuge in Palestine, another country now? Will the Israelis be able to stop Arafat from asking his buddy Saddam to give him some of his weapons of mass destruction (remember that Arafat supported Saddam during the Gulf War)? Will the Israelis be able to control the type and quantities of weapons that Iraq, Syria, Iran will supply this new state which will be at the "forefront" of the fight against the "Zionists"? The answer to all these questions is obviously NO. And for this reason, until the Palestinians demonstrate that their aspiration is peace, not the extermination of Jews, they should NEVER be given a state.

Why is everyone surprised at the remarks made by Cherie Blair?

She effectively blamed the mass murders of Israelis by Palestinians on...Israel of course! She follows in the footsteps of the many anti-semites and anti-Israelis who litter the British landscape. I think she has spent too much time with Queen Rania (see picture in the linked document) and watching the BBBC, the Biased British Broadcasting Corporation.

I really wonder how she would feel if one of her children was killed by a terrorist in Northern Ireland and if people told her that the children of Northern Ireland have no hope, no prospect for a better life, and that really it was Britain's occupation of Ireland which justified these actions. Hum...do you think this nitwit would change her tune? What makes her qualified to make these statements? The fact that she sleeps with another closet pro-Arab Liberal? Please Cherie, spare us and stop insulting our intelligence!
Another day, another massacre. What will Israel do now? At least we know that the US is being really really firm...they have postponed Bush's speech. Boy, that'll show the Palestinians. And that means a lot to the families of the victims, for sure. Goofballs!

Let's hope that Sharon lives up to his commitment and starts taking over more and more Palestinian territory with every homicide bombing. I think that Israel should actually empty these areas as well. And every time there is another attack, Israel should tighten the noose around the territories. Eventually, either the attacks will stop or the territories will be empty. Either way, the goal of ending the bombings is achieved. And where do the Israelis send the deported Palestinians? To Jordan, where 80% of the population is Palestinian. They will blend right in. And should these new "guests" make trouble for the new King, hopefully he will use the same "brotherly" method as the one demonstrated by his illustrious father, King Hussein on September 1970 (for those whose memory is too short, this is also referred to as "Black" September).
Details to follow...
There has been another suicide bombing in Jerusalem only minutes ago. No details have been given and no death toll has been given either.
Shocking

Just thought I'd let everyone know the answer to yesterday's little quiz. The comments made by the "influencial" person in yesterday's "Who Said That?" section, were made by Sen. Hillary Clinton. I know, I'm as surprised as you are.

Incredible
This blogger performed the most thought-provoking experiment about the MidEast crisis that I've seen in a long time. After hearing about the 19 deaths from the suicide bombing this morning, he randomly ripped out 19 pictures from his high school yearbook and then commented on memories he had of each person. He tried to imagine what it would be like to suddenly lose those 19 lives. The most interesting part? He ripped out his own picture! This is NOT to be missed.
Who said that?
I'll post some very strong comments that were recently made by a very influencial person. You guys try and guess who said it. The answer will be given tomorrow. Guesses can be recorded in the comments section. Good luck!...and Dad, I expect a slight shift in opinion about this person after you find out who it is!

"Wherever terrorism strikes, that's ground zero."
...
"Those who protect, and give safe harbor to terrorism must be held responsible. Yasser Arafat bears the responsibility for the violence that has occurred, it rests on his shoulders, even today he could do more to end the terrorism."
...
"(The Sbarro pizzeria where 15 people were killed in a suicide bombing last August) is open here and ready for business and the people of Jerusalem and Israel are going about their daily lives despite the threat of terrorism. It is a great lesson to New York and America."
...
"If before September 11 I had a sense of commitment to Israel's future and security, that commitment became ever more personal and profound after the 11th of September."
...
"The facts are that Arafat stands responsible and should be held accountable for the terrorism taking place under his watch."
...
"(Arafat is) unwilling and unable to be a peace partner. We do not have a partner on the other side for that type of long-term negotiated settlement."

"The responsibility for the violence since the collapse of the Camp David discussions rests squarely on (Arafat's) shoulders."
...
" (Arafat) has failed as a leader and his inability or unwillingness to rein in forces of violence and terrorism demonstrates he is not ready or willing to be a leader."
...
"It is imperative that Yasser Arafat recognize that his willingness not only to tolerate but to use violence cannot succeed."

3 Easy steps to justice in Palestine

Due to the graphic nature of the photos I found, I am simply linking to the photos as opposed to posting them on the site. Nothing too extreme, but I thought I should stay on the side of caution.

Step One: A Palestinian man is suspected by local Arab terrorists of working for Israel. No trial, no defense, no democratic due process.......the man's body is simply riddled with bullets! Palestinian children are reminded in no uncertain terms of what happens to those who work for peace with the Jews.

Step Two: The body is dragged through the streets of Bethlehem by a pickup truck (probably one stolen from Israel).

Step Three: The body is hung up by the ankles for public display near the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and then degutted... all of this directly across from the entrance of the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus!

Courtesy of Mideast Truth
Things are looking hopeful!...
In a shocking display of cynicism, 96% of respondents in a Weekly Standard poll, said that they believed Palestinian terror would continue after the creation of a Palestinian state.
I would suggest to Arafat to pack his suitcase. My guess is that the latest mass murder by Palestinians will push Israel's security cabinet to finally order the permanent expulsion of Arafat from the Territories.

Of course, Arafat and his accomplices "do not condone" the killing of civilians (note, it doesn't say condemn). But let's get real here. What has Arafat done in the last few months to control terrorism? All the evidence lifted from Orient House and from his compound point to him actually financing terrorists. Even if this is not true, has he arrested, tried and imprisoned terrorists? Nope. Has he put together a security team or ask for help to create a force to destroy Hamas and Hezbollah, who constantly undermine any prospect for peace? Nope. Has he made a speech where he condemns these organizations and ask his people to stop supporting them? Nope. Has he asked Palestinian families to stop teaching them about martyrdom and to stop encouraging their children to become mass murderers? Nope again. So, I think it is time for him to go. It is time for him to be placed on the garbage heap of humanity alongside Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin and Saddam. Good riddance.

Terrorist Bus Bomb Attack in Jerusalem Kills 19.....many are 10-12 years old

What great timing eh? Yesterday, the PA released the most "bending" offer they've made in quite some time. Before the Israelis could react to it, Yasshole releases another homocide bomber into the streets, kills at least 19 people and claims innocence. Of course now, when the Israelis attack Arafat, he'll cry bloody murder and whine about how the Israelis are attacking him after he made such a wonderful peace offering. You know what Yasser? Take your olive branch and shove it! Alright boys, it's time to take him out! Get 'em!

Way to go GWB...oh but wait, this doesn't apply to Israel of course, Colin is making sure of that.

In a recent address, GWB stated:

"If we wait for threats to materialize, we will have waited too long," he said without mentioning any country by name. "The war on terror will not be won on the defensive -- we must take the battle to the enemy."

I think this pretty much give Sharon a green light to take the offensive and do whatever is necessary to destroy anyone, anywhere who threatens Israel with terrorist acts. I am not sure how GWB can equivocate after making this statement. But rest assured that Powell and his pro-Palestinian State Dept. buddies will manage to muddle this issue once more.

I hope no one is suggesting that Arafat is against the fence that Israel is building because it makes his planning of homicides and mass murders much more difficult.

Isn't this the most outrageous thing you've ever seen? After organizing, planning, encouraging, funding, applauding and rewarding suicide bombers for 2 years, following a life of terrorism and violence, Arafat is now opposed to the new fence that Israel is building to protect itself against Arafat. Is this guy for real? So let's look at what Israel's options are here. a) turn all Palestinian areas into parking lots...this would not be very politically saleable and would bring world condemnation on Israel, although this might end the terrorism. b) ditto if Israel intensified its military campaign to destroy terrorists and their supporters. c) protect itself and make Yasser more mad and more incoherent than his usual way, or d) do nothing and have more Israelis massacred daily by idiots who have been bred by Arafat and their own mothers (see next post) to kill as many Jews as they possibly can. Don't know about you but this is a bit of a tossup. I think I'll take "Fence" for $2B, Alex. Arafat not only is an incoherent terrorist, he is now a senile, babbling idiot. I think we should negotiate with this guy!
A face only a monster could love...
A homocide bomber kisses his mother before embarking upon his killing spree. When she heard of the news of her son's explosion that killed 2 soldiers, she clapped her hands and ululated with joy.

Meanwhile....in Israel......

And here's another reason why I'll run Condi's campaign...

Arafat is mad at Condi for calling him corrupt and useless.....or something like that. Yeah Condi....my hero.
